Lauren Hines
Executive Director
Lauren is a firm believer in the power of “we.” It’s not only about what you can do, but what “we” do together that makes the biggest impact. It is the “we” that creates the future.
Lauren is a lover of all things event production related. She entered the bridal industry by creating the disruptor brand Get Wed For Less® after planning her own wedding and recognizing the need for high quality, accessible marketplace offerings. As the creator of numerous events-based and bridal initiatives, including Hinesmark Affairs, Lauren provides planning resources and solutions to engaged couples, business opportunities for the professional, and environments where both clients and vendors can interact.
Lauren loves fostering partnerships that lead to meaningful relationships and profitable results. As the President of Atlanta Wedding & Event Professionals (#AtlantaWEP), she labors in love through the social enterprise, bringing the wedding, event and entertainment industries together for productions.
As the Executive Director for Love Fest International, she leads the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a determined focus on its mission to help establish and cultivate healthy marriages and empower the disadvantaged. Lauren oversees the administration, programs, and strategic plan of LFI. She leads the organization fearlessly, navigating toward achievable outcomes, and building rapport in the communities LFI serves.
In her personal time, Lauren enjoys doing ministry at her local church and training in mixed martial arts. Her most significant roles are that of wife to her incredible husband and mother to three inspiring, brilliant children. Lauren’s work has been featured in Modern Luxury WEDDINGS, Essence Magazine, The Budget Savvy Bride, The Daily Herald, Black Bride, Washington Informer, The Baltimore Times, blogs, and other respected media platforms.
